Moraga red floral backpack

The original version of this pattern goes a long way back. It's based on an embroidered silk textile on linen tabby ground that was made in Delhi, India, Delhi, during the 17th century. (The actual embroidery was a gift of Mr and Mrs J H Wade to the Cleveland Museum of Art back in 1916.)

This colorful design lives on a classic backpack silhouette, making for a bag that's both simple and sturdy. There's one large main compartment with easy zipper access, plus an external zippered pocket with a basic pocket organizer. It's made from 600 denier polyester, and has adjustable padded straps. (Measurements: 16.75" x 13" x 8.5" for 1550 cubic inches of space.)
